Electrica is now up

Electrica is now open for the rest of the month. Go to the Instituto Cervantes on East 49th street, NYC and check out Ryan Brennan and Mar Gomez’s Teeter Totter piece. Milena was the interaction designer for the piece. She created a system of interaction so that the balance and movement of the teeter totter would control video. This was build using an accelerometer, an arduino microcontroller and a custom program built in MaxMSP to have the teeter totter control the video output. Check out pictures from the gallery’s opening night
